Use your local Bus Company or lose it!

Today i aim at getting across just how important it is for people to support their local Bus Operator.

From December most of the Fuel Subsidy will get withdrawn meaning that the price of running Bus Services will shoot up and some smaller firms will struggle to find the extra cash meaning some might end up going under and am sure you will all join me in saying we need our local Bus Company.

Cumfybus is one independent Operator  who run Services in Fyde, Liverpool, Wirral, Southport and Bolton, Here is Hybrid Solo YJ12 GXA coming into St Helens on their 139 Service. This service Runs from Liverpool to St Helens via Broadgreen Hospital, Huyton Bus Station and Prescot Bus Station with 5 trips continuing to St Helens Bus Station via Rainhill, Nutgrove, Toll Barr and Eccelston running through Estates no other company touches.

Hybrid Solo YJ12 GXA

Halton Transport are another independent Bus Firm who run Services in the Halton Area.

Here is DF02 EHY on their route 62 Service, Its a 15 Minute Service between Hough Green Farm and Murdishaw with an Hourly Extension to Warrington Bus Station.

Halton also run a 17 Service between Widnes and St Helens Town Centre, This service runs every Half hourly during Monday to Friday Daytime with the evening and Sunday service being a tender and ran by HTL.

Hattons Travel is Local Firm based in St Helens, Here is MX08 MGV on their 141 service that runs between St Helens and Newton-Le-Willows Train Station. They run the Service hourly Monday to Friday Daytime whereas the Evening and Sunday Service is ran as a Tender by HTL.

Another Service Hattons run is the 97 that runs from St Helens Bus Station to Prescot Thomas Drive via Broadway, Eccelston Park and Prescot Bus Station at an hourly Frequency on Monday to Saturday Daytime.

Another Local firm is Impera who are based in Morton on the Wirral, one of their Services is the 39 that runs Between West Kirby and New Brighton Via Hoylake, Town Meadow, Morton Cross. Leasowe, Wallasey and Liscard, the Service runs every Half Hour Monday to Sunday Daytime with the Evening Service running hourly.

Peoplesbus are Local Firm based in Liverpool, they do mainly School Services however they do run the 52A Service from Netherton to Liverpool. Here is SPD S80 BUS on the Service
