On the 26th October First Announced that they plan to close Rusholme Depot by 26th January 2019 with all members of staff being moved to other First Depots.

This is the 3rd Depot in recent times to close following Bury and Ashton Under Lyne Depots in 2017, Services affected are the 41 (Manchester - Sale) and 53 (Cheetham Hill - Pendleton)

Once Rusholme closes it will leave Bolton, Queens Road and Oldham as the only Depots with First in Manchester.
