After a week of speculation Cumfybus who currently operate from their Depots in Aintree, Poulton and Southport have confirmed they intend to open a new bus Depot in Bolton.
Speculation says they have won all the ex Maytree Work Arriva currently operate but that so far is yet to be confirmed, One thing that is confirmed is that Cumfybus are to run a Bolton Depot and they are asking for Drivers to join them.
Cumfybus currently operate mainly tendered services using mainly Optare Solo's and Hybrid Solo's buses however they do have a few routes that are not tendered one route being the 139 that used to be a tendered service between Liverpool City Centre and Prescot bus station however last year when Stagecoach Gillmoss decided to withdraw their 70 service that ran between Prescot Bus Station and St Helens Bus Station Cumfybus wasted no time in extending their 139 route to St Helens bus station along the 70 route.
Over the next few weeks Cumfybus should register the won services onto VOSA, this will confirm what routes they are to operate.
