Following on from January when we looked at the most used Stations in Merseyside its time to look at the figures for 2019 - 2020, Will there be any movement in the top 10 Stations?

1. Liverpool Central

2019 - 2020 Passengers: 16,454,940

Liverpool Central Retains the title of the most used Railway Station in Merseyside and saw an increase in Passenger numbers, The Station is the 29th most used Station in Great Britain, up from the 30th most used last time.

2. Liverpool Lime Street

2018 - 2019 Passengers: 14,221,094
2019 - 2020 Passengers: 16,021,914
Change +1,800,000

Liverpool Lime Street remains the 2nd most used Station in Merseyside and saw an increase in its Passenger numbers, The Station was the 30th most used Station in Great Britain up from 33rd most used last time.

3. Moorfields

2019 - 2020 Passengers: 7,361,420

Moorfields remains the 3rd most used Station in Merseyside and saw its Passengers go up, This Station was the 66th most used Station in Great Britain up from 79th most used last time.

4. Southport

Kirkby has moved up to the 6th Used Station in Merseyside from 7th last time, No surprise that it saw its Passenger numbers increase since last time aswell. It is ranked at the 195th most used Station in Great Britain, up from 240th last time.

7. Liverpool South Parkway

Liverpool South Parkway has dropped down to the 7th most used Station in Merseyside, It was 6th last time and has seen its Passenger numbers decline (The first one on the list to do so.) It is ranked the 225th most used Station in Great Britain down from 223rd last time.

Hunts Cross has entered the top 10 list of most used Station in Merseyside and not surprisingly saw its Passenger numbers go up, The Station is ranked the 325th most used Station in Great Britain just behind Blundellsands & Crosby.

For those wondering where Maghull now sits it is the 12th most used Station in Merseyside down from 10th last time, Its Passenger numbers did increase however Stations above increased more which knocked it out of the top 10.
